VP of Governance
Adam H. Koblenz is a Partner with Goetz Fitzpatrick LLP. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Koblenz was a named partner at a prominent regional law firm.
Mr. Koblenz concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate, real estate, labor and employment and litigation and appeals.
Mr. Koblenz regularly serves as outside general counsel to businesses operating in a myriad of industries in the Metropolitan region. Mr. Koblenz has represented
major corporations, municipalities, unions, small businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals in complex commercial and corporate litigation, partnership
disputes and associated dissolution proceedings, construction litigation involving mechanic’s lien foreclosures, tax lien foreclosures, insurance fraud actions,
first-party property litigation, negligence, complex mass toxic tort litigation in both domestic and foreign forums, employment and labor matters involving claims
of discrimination, FLSA claims, wage and hour violations, entertainment law, Article 78 litigation, and real estate disputes. He also counsels and advises clients on
the sale and acquisition, financing, leasing, construction and use and development of commercial, industrial, and residential real properties.
Mr. Koblenz has been recognized by Super Lawyers as one of New York Metro’s “Rising Stars” in the practice area of general litigation for consecutive years in 2013,
2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019; 2020 and 2021. Mr. Koblenz was also named to the 2022, 2023 and 2024 New York Metro Super Lawyers List(s), an honor
bestowed upon the top 5 percent of attorneys in the New York Metropolitan region.
In 2024, Mr. Koblenz was selected by Blank Slate Media as one of the Top Business Leaders of Nassau County. In 2023, Mr. Koblenz was honored as one of the
Top Lawyers of Long Island by the Long Island Herald. Mr. Koblenz earned Long Island Business News’ (LIBN) Leadership in Law Award in the Associate category
in 2013 and the Partner category in 2020. In 2016, Mr. Koblenz received the Millennial Award from LIBN.
Mr. Koblenz currently serves as Associate Village Justice for the Village of Roslyn Estates. Previously, Mr. Koblenz served for sixteen (16) years as a Prosecutor
for the Incorporated Village of East Hills; as well as Special Prosecuting Attorney for the Villages of Old Westbury and Sands Point.
Mr. Koblenz also serves on the Children’s Medical Fund of New York’s Board of Trustees (CMF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for the Steven
and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York. In 2017, Mr. Koblenz, in conjunction with CMF’s Board of Trustees, was instrumental in the opening
of the CMF Center for Diagnostic Studies, a state-of-the-art MRI and diagnostic wing within the Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center. Mr. Koblenz’s dedication to
non-profit organizations demonstrates his long-standing commitment to serving those underserved locally as well as the community-at-large.
Mr. Koblenz is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the
Eastern, Southern and Northern Districts of New York, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, United States Court of Appeals for the Second
Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Koblenz is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, New York State Magistrates
Association and Nassau County Magistrates Association
