David Aarons is the CEO of AFD Contract Furniture Inc. (AFD) and its wholly owned subsidiaries. Established in 1980, AFD is now a third-generation family-owned business and is one of the nation’s largest and most respected furniture management companies in New York, across the US, and in Latin America. David began working for AFD in 2002 as an Account Executive responsible for generating new business and successfully helped establish AFD’s Puerto Rico location. In 2010, he became responsible for General Management responsibilities and in the following year, opened Integrated Workplace Environment (IWE) with offices in Costa Rica and Panama. In March of 2019, David was appointed CEO of AFD and is still involved with contract negotiation, oversight of client relationships, and general management responsibilities. David earned his undergraduate degree at Emory University in 2000 and was awarded a Phi Beta Kappa. In 2002, he earned his Master of Science in Management at the University of Florida in which he was an MSM Scholar. In 2008, he earned his second his second Master of Science in Real Estate with a concentration of Asset Management from NYU. David joined the board of directors of Children’s Medical Funds in 2018 and in 2021, David became an Adjunct Professor at NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate. Additionally, David oversees the investment side of a substantial portfolio of real estate properties with various operating partners in the tri-state area. David resides in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey with his wife and two sons.
