Richard Rush

Richard Rush was raised on Long Island. He earned his BA from the University of Pennsylvania and JD from the Washington College of Law at American University. After working for 3 years as an attorney for the NYC Corporations Counsel’s office in the Real Estate Litigation Department, he joined his family business, Rush Properties, in 1994.
Richard is currently the President of Rush Properties, which manages over 25 properties throughout Long Island and New York City, including rental apartment buildings, Coops, Condos and Shopping Centers. The portfolio includes both family-owned and third party-managed properties. His company has a long-standing reputation for quality management for over 5 decades on LI and he represents the third generation in the family business. He also is the owner and President of a residential real estate brokerage firm, Rush Realty Corp.
Richard has been actively involved with CMF for over 25 years. He has been active in other charitable and political organizations including, UJA, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and AIPAC.
Richard and his wife Jen of over 25 years live in New York City. They are proud of their 3 children, Jacob, Lindsey and Benjamin.
